The Business Analyst is an essential role for the proper delivery of Business Analytics services. Based on a deep understanding of business processes and strong knowledge of the supporting technologies, the business analyst is able to effectively translate customer requirements into functional specifications and high-level technical designs.

The incumbent will be responsible to identify, deliver and manage internal business analytics services supporting the internal customers' needs while keeping the processes and tools as standard and integrated as possible. The scope of this position is the reporting and analytics services related to Sales, Customer Service and Incident management processes for all Amadeus BUs. In addition to the above, the incumbent will play the role of Product Owner following SAFe methodology.

Scope:

- Enterprise Analytics Services (Corporate Reporting/Dashboarding, Data Integration,... ).
- Supporting globally all Amadeus employees (all Business Units, all Corporate Functions).
- Answering to a wide range of company information needs for decision making.

Your main responsibilities:

1. Automated solution identification
- Advise internal customers on business Analytics services
- Based on high level business requirements, recommend potential solutions and provide with high level implementation sizing



2. Design and solution construction
- Collect and document the detailed business specifications with internal customers
- Define functional requirements of the solution using standard services whenever possible, also validate technical requirement with the Internal Business Solution Architects/Engineers and support development team during the software implementation
- Develop or customize end-to-end solutions and follow up and monitor/a the overall construction of the solution
- Execute the end to end functional tests and coordinate user acceptance tests
- Produce user documentation and educational materials (including user communications)


3. Solution maintenance and support
- Perform the application functional L3 support (customer/production)
- Propose enhancements to avoid failure and improve performance

- Assists, guides and supports team members in their assigned functions with focus on service delivery processes


4. Project coordination
- Deliver the agreed solution on-time, within budget and according to specifications
- Lead the solution delivery project team through the definition (WBS, estimate...), planning phases, then monitor/a and control the project to completion using Project Management Agile methodologies (SAFe)
- Responsible for problem resolution, risk management and project success


5. Product Owner responsibilities
Preparation and Participation in PI Planning
- Updating the team backlog before the planning event and contributing to the program vision, roadmap and content presentations.
- During the event, the PO is involved providing the clarifications necessary to assist the team with their story estimates and sequencing, and defining the team PI objectives
Iteration & Program Execution
- Maintaining the team backlog (including defects and enablers) with the inputs from System Architect/Engineering and other stakeholders
- Reviewing and reprioriting the backlog as part of the prep work for Iteration Planning, including coordination of dependencies with other POs
- Just-in-time story elaboration, maintaining the proper flow of user stories
- Accepting stories validating that the story meets acceptance criteria, that it has the appropriate, persistent acceptance tests, and that it otherwise complies with its Definition of Done (DoD)
- Understanding enabler work, working and collaborating with System and Solution Architects/Engineering to assist with decision-making and sequencing of the critical technological infrastructures that will host the new business functionality
Inspect and Adapt
- Working across teams to define and implement improvement stories that will increase the velocity and quality of the program
- Preparing and producing the PI system demo for program stakeholders

Requisitos
- Holds a University degree in Business or Scientific studies
- Has proven experience in customer facing activities related to Business Analytics Projects (collection and documentation of business requirements, change management, coordination of User Acceptance Tests- ) using Reporting, Analysis, Dashboarding.
- Demonstrates expertise in Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse knowledge from a large multinational company (in one of the following technologies: QlikSense, Tableau, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BPC and SAP Business Objects Suite)
- Is proficient in English
- Has good understanding of Travel Industry and/or Amadeus business, including Travel Channels/Airlines related business models with knowledge of SalesForce, ServiceNow CRM Tableau/Einstein will be highly valued
Possesses strong communication skills, with ability to present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner and adjust messages to different audiences.
- Has product Owner SAFe Certification or similar experience as a plus
