Spanish Engineering company is looking a Legal Counsel for a turnkey project in Middle east.

 

As a Legal Counsel for our Infrastructure Project, you will contribute to our team by:

 

  1. Providing legal advice to the Management of the Project and the team of Contract Managers and to other departments;
  2. Identifying and raising critical issues to the Management of the Project and assisting in formulating effective strategies for mitigation or resolution;
  3. Training to assist project teams in understanding and implementing contract requirements;
  4. Revising and generating standard form contracts, subcontracts and joint venture agreements;
  5. Negotiating the resolution of disputes and drafting of settlement agreements;
  6. Advising senior management on the nature and status of claims and litigated matters including risk assessment, budgeting, scheduling and recommended course of action;
  7. Assisting with the resolution of claims and litigation, including assistance in developing and implementing dispute resolution strategies;
  8. Assisting with insurance and managing outside counsel with respect to construction and general commercial matters;
  9. Implementing corporate compliance policies in the Israel., including, but not limited to policies relating to labor laws, employment and human rights laws, and ethics;

 

What you will bring to the role:

 

A law Degree and a minimum of five years of practice for a law firm or as in-house legal counsel.

Demonstrated ability to work as member of a team and trusted client advisor.

Willingness and ability to travel. Extensive travel may be required in connection with dispute resolution.

Ability to establish and maintain good rapport with executives, district office management and other internal clients;

Problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess a situation, quickly focus on the relevant issues and create multiple solutions for resolution; and

Significant construction industry experience.


During the term of the agreement this position will be located in Tel Aviv, Israel. The rest of th etime the position will be located in Bilbao.
