  • Let's start explaining shortly what a System Engineer is expected to do in this position.
  • The System Engineer prepares, deploys and maintains DTV platform at customers' premises within a complex and demanding environment.
  • She/He is recognized as a professional who is able to analyse and solve difficult problems under pressure, independent and autonomous. Undoubtedly, she/he is a team player whose attitude is customer-driven.


  • DTV Deployment & Maintenance (S1L): Deploy and maintain customers' platforms in a complex environment, in close collaboration with Program Managers and following deployment plan or equivalent.
  • Hotline: Take part in hotline shifts on a regular basis, troubleshooting production platforms issues and assisting customers according to the Hotline Guidelines.
  • Training: Participate in the preparation and delivery of internal or external technical training. Document and publish for regions, product technical feature or complex migration steps.
  • Tech Doc: Participate in the preparation, maintenance and publication of internal or external technical documentation. Focus on product overview or product technical feature or complex migration steps.
  • Second Level support (S2L): Provide action plans, solutions or workarounds to complex technical problems encountered in the field (S1L), in compliance with processes and requirements defined for the S2L service.


  • Advanced university degree in Computer Science Engineering or Telecommunications.
  • Operating Systems including professional versions of Microsoft Windows, IBM AIX and
  • Red Hat Linux.
  • Complex server solutions (RAID, Clustering, SAN, etc.).
  • Computer networking (firewall, switch, router, protocols, routing rules, TCP/IP packet analysis, etc.).
  • Database management including Oracle, Sybase and Microsoft SQL Server, as well as PL / SQL query language.
  • Team player mind-set (share information and experience, seeking and providing help spontaneously) to integrate a multi-cultural team.
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast moving environment and resistant to constraints and pressure.
  • Excellent service attitude, with very good communication skills, to face customer exposure.
  • Autonomous and flexible.


  • Fluent in Spanish and English (French would be valuable but not required.
  • Worldwide travel could reach up to 40% - 60% of total work time.

  • Salary range: 36.000 € - 37.000 €.
