Join Our Innovation Team! A leading technology center is looking for a Surface Treatment Senior Researcher to lead European R&D&I projects in advanced manufacturing, circular economy, and bioeconomy. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and manage surface treatment and post-treatment lines for industrial applications.
- Project Management: Lead European (Horizon Europe, Horizon 2020), national, regional, and private R&D projects from negotiation to completion.
- Technical Oversight: Supervise plasma, dip coating, robotic spraying, and curing technologies. Validate processes through advanced testing.
- Maintenance Protocols: Design and implement equipment calibration and maintenance procedures.
- Industrial Collaboration: Develop tailored solutions for sectors like automotive, aerospace, mobility, and food packaging.
- Client Engagement: Act as a technical liaison, prepare reports, and ensure successful technology transfer.
- Outreach: Represent the organization at major industry events such as the European Coatings Show and Bio-based Coatings Europe.

RequisitosRequirements
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Master’s, PhD, or equivalent technical studies.
Essential: Proven experience in surface treatments, whether for metallic or plastic components.
Strong knowledge in material chemistry, physico-chemical processes, and quality standards.
Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D projects (H2020/FP7).
Proficiency in English (C1 level or higher); other languages are a plus.
Experience in writing and presenting European R&D project proposals.
Familiarity with plastics and advanced manufacturing processes is highly valued.
Availability to travel to attend trade fairs, conferences, and industry events.
Valid driving license required.
